Mario works on strengthening Spring Impact’s marketing and communications function by increasing awareness of the organisation’s aim and expertise supporting NGOs and social organisations to scale up social impact projects. His role is focused on coordinating the end-to-end delivery of marketing and communications campaigns for our programmes and thought leadership content, leading the social media strategy, and supporting with reporting on marketing performance using data analytics tools.
Mario joined Spring Impact from Hudbay Minerals in their operations in Peru, where he led the corporate communication strategy, by improving the experience of local communities with the company, designing the PR, media relations, and events sponsorship strategy, and enhancing the social media presence, contributing to reducing the risk of social conflicts.
Mario has a First-Class Honours Degree in MA Corporate Communications, Marketing, and Public Relations from the University of Leeds.
